Blog #6 The Ancient undefeated boxer who never threw a single punch

Blog  #6 The Ancient undefeated boxer who never threw a single punch

Boxing is a sport that practices the art of fighting with Fists oh, any modern boxing they use padded gloves in a rope Square ring and fight using rules established in the beginning. However, in the origins of Boxing ancient Greece, boxing was a lot more dangerous. The ancient Greeks former boxing in which two men sat face-to-face and beat on each other with their fists until one of them was knocked out or killed. In ancient Greek boxing, there was no such thing as divisions or weight class, so boxing in ancient Greece was dominated by the biggest guy. Fights in boxing we're usually the hands were wrapped up in cloth to keep the bones from breaking otherwise they just fought naked. A lot of the matches in ancient boxing would just be two boxers standing still and just taking turns punching each other until one falls down pretty brutal. Until one boxer under the name of Melankomas came onto the scene oh, he had a very different type of fighting style which primarily revolved around defense and Agility. He would hold his guard, slipped through punches, and roll around the ring to the opponent gives up. His stamina was the stuff of Legends the boxer could repeatedly stand with his hand up for the entire day without moving an inch and he was so fast that most important would look at their swing at clouds instead of him. In all those matches he would never take a single hit or every deal a single hit to his opponent. This man was the stuff of Legends as he went through his entire boxing career without taking a punch or ever swing a punch. All his opponents would just admit defeat after hours and hours of swinging at nothing and tumbling over at the turn around him but end up missing him entirely. Many people might think why would they even bother to challenge him if they know they may never hit him, however, most boxers put a thought in their head that maybe that they will be the guy who hit him and then they become the stuff of Legend. Overall this was just an interesting story I found and I thought to share it.

Entry# 5 Response to Ducey: Why Arizona needs more college grads

Entry# 5 Response to Ducey: Why Arizona needs more college grads

After reading this articles it gave me some much needed information about this subject. The articles had many really good points about Arizona's current educational predicament, with only about half of Arizona's workforce has a college degree or even went to college. This small blog will contain two points that I really like that the articles and the last point will be what I thought about the article in whole.
The first point I liked  is "States with better educated citizens also see economic benefits"(from the article). I believe this is true, due to some of the richest states in the United States of America have a much better education than Arizona. The goal they have set makes a lot of sense and is very believable for it is not some outlandish number like by 2020 over 90% of Arizonans will have gone though college. Their goal is to get more people into college.
and they want 60% of Arizona citizens to have gone to college and have a degree by 2030.
The second point that I would like to bring up in the raising of the bar; the world is a very competitive place and we need to prepare children and teens for it. By raising the bar of education it could either deter people from going to college or get them to go too college. If more people go to college and get their degrees then a plethora of jobs will open up to them or they could create their own place of business. If the plant they are putting into motion goes off without a hitch then Arizona will see less poverty on the streets, more jobs to choose from and more funding for the government to use for the people of Arizona. However I believe the only way to get more people into college is to make it more affordable, the main reason most people don't go to college is the threat of being in debt to them. That is a scary thought for most and enough to deter them from going.

What I thought about the article was that it was well-rounded it was full of information facts charts the whole nine yards. It helps put a nice little grasp on Arizona's educational issues, however the site was putting my computer through the loops. When I went on it it's slow down my computer to an almost-dead stop. Those are my thoughts on this article overall it was good.

Entry# 4 Australia's war against emus

Image result for EmuAustralia is a country that is in the southern hemisphere on the planet, it is surrounded by the Indian and Pacific Ocean. The country is widely known for its Sydney Opera House, the Great Barrier Reef, a vast interior desert Wilderness they call the Outback, and many unique animal species like the kangaroo and the duck-billed platypus and many others. Australia has many unique things about it that make it very interesting like all the poisonous animals there however what makes it most interesting is its history in war. For some contacts after World War 1, a lot of Australian soldiers came home and use the money they got an earned the start of a farm and have a piece of life with their friends and family. On those Farms, the group many different kinds of crops, but they tend to attract animals an animal that attracted by something called an emu.
When was I want to Australia's most dangerous creatures, which in retrospect is very impressive compared to all the other danger that they have inhabited the Outback. It even has a large flightless bass running Australian bird closely resembling the ostrich, but they're Shaggy gray or brown feathers, with blue skin on the neck and head. They have three-toed feet with a fight in Talons on each one, and he kicks so powerfully it can rip through a steel fence.

In spite of the recommendations and the promised subsidies, wheat prices continue to fall and by October 1932 matters will be coming really intense with the farm repairing to harvest The Season's crop also tells you threatening to refuse to deliver the wheat. The difficulties of the farmers only increase as more than 2,000 demon sort of the child down on their crops and rabbits through their land. Farmers, of course, started to relay their concerns about the big birds rubbing their crops to the government. The military got involved during October 1932, but before that Australian Farmers border militia to battle the birds. All the men travel to Campion, where some 50 emails were cited. And the birds were out of range of the guns the locals that were attempting to hurt you move into an ambush, however, the bird's blade of small groups and ran they were difficult Target. Nevertheless, while the first Skirmish was ineffective to the machine does not have the range needed the second skirmish was a bit different with a burst of gunfire was able to kill a number of birds. Later during the same day, a small flock was encountered with perhaps a dozen birds were killed and after many more events like this, the military eventually had to back down due to the birds not falling back. This is where I'm officially the Australian military gave up and surrendered to emus never relinquishing from the fight.
